How to Analyze NOTAM

Step-by-step guide to using the smart analyzer and understanding technical results and operational impact.

NOTAM Analysis Guide for AeroOps

The NOTAM Analysis section is the core of the system, combining AI with an offline technical interpreter to ensure a precise understanding of every word in the aeronautical telegram.

Steps for Use:

  1. Input Text: Paste the raw NOTAM text into the designated box. Ensure the (Q) line is included if available for best results.
  2. Select Analysis Language: You can choose the language for the interpretation (Arabic, English, etc.) from the "Analysis Language" dropdown.
  3. Analyze: Click the "Analyze & Instant Translation" button.

Understanding the Results:

  • Offline Interpreter: Appears immediately and decodes technical abbreviations and terms based on the built-in ICAO dictionary. High-risk words (like CLOSED) will appear in red.
  • AI Summary: If you have a PRO subscription, the system will summarize the operational impact of the NOTAM in human-readable terms, clarifying whether the airport is closed or if there is merely a minor obstruction.
  • Geocoding: The system automatically identifies the NOTAM's location on the map if coordinates or an airport code are detected.

Tech Tip:

You can use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Enter for quick analysis without needing to use the mouse.
