Reports Center Operations Guide
Welcome to the comprehensive guide for using the advanced Reports Center in AeroOps. This section is designed to be your constant companion during airport shifts to manage PDF, Excel, and scripting files with ease.
1. Local Folder Linking (AeroSync)
The most important feature in the system is the ability to link the web application to a real folder on your computer.
- How to Activate: Click on the "Link Local Folder" button at the top of the page.
- Security: The browser will ask for "View and Edit" permission. Once approved, the folder's content will immediately appear in the app.
- Synchronization: Any file you add to the folder on your computer will appear in the app, and vice versa.
2. Groups System
To organize your work, you can create groups (e.g., "Airport Operations", "Maintenance Reports"):
- Each group you create in the app corresponds to a real subfolder on the hard drive.
- You can easily move files between groups using the dropdown menu inside the report card.
3. "Pin to Top" Feature
For reports you need to open frequently during the shift:
- Click on the "Pin" icon on any report.
- The report will immediately be moved to the "Pinned" section at the top of the page to always be in your sight.
4. Status Tags System
To manage tasks and track what has been accomplished:
- Hover over the word "Status" on any card.
- Choose a color that represents the report's status:
- 🟢 Completed: For reports that have been fully uploaded or reviewed.
- 🔴 Urgent: For emergency reports that require immediate attention.
- 🟡 Under Review: For tasks that are still ongoing.
5. Backup (Duplicate)
If you want to create a new report based on data from an old report:
- Click on the "Duplicate" icon.
- The system will create an exact replica with the word "(Duplicate)" added to the name, and it will also create a new file on the hard drive.
[!TIP] Pro Tip: Use "List View" if you have a large number of files (more than 20 files) so you can browse and manage them faster.
