Radar and Operations Map Guide in AeroOps

AeroOps provides an advanced visual interface that links text data (NOTAMs) to a real geographical location, raising the operator's Situational Awareness.

How to Use the Interactive Map:

1. Auto-Targeting

When you analyze a NOTAM containing an airport code (e.g., HECA) or coordinates, the radar will automatically focus on that point and change the Zoom level to give you a close-up view of the affected operations area.

2. Live Flight Tracking

A live Flight Tracking system has been integrated, allowing you to watch aircraft in the surrounding airspace. You can click on any aircraft to see its basic data.

3. Airport Panel

At the bottom of the map, an interactive information panel will appear for each monitored airport. This panel includes:

  • Full airport name.
  • City and country.
  • Precise geographical coordinates.

4. Visual Alerts

If a NOTAM indicates a "Runway Closure" or "Hazard", you will notice the airport area on the map highlighted with alert colors (yellow or red) to immediately draw your attention to the field impact of the message.

Technical Tip:

You can use the mouse wheel to zoom in and out, and you can drag the map to explore areas adjacent to the flight path affected by the NOTAM.
